Spring Equinox Celebration – Yin Yoga & Candlelight Labyrinth Walk
When: Friday March 20th, 8:15 to 10:30 PM

9:30-10:30, Ritual & Labyrinth Walk at the Mercy Center, 2300 Adeline Dr, Burlingame

Cost: $25 early bird price until 3/17 - $30 thereafter

Come celebrate the first day of spring and call abundance into your life! The Spring or Vernal Equinox is honored as a joyous time of planting seeds for new growth and new ventures. It is a time of reinvigorating hope for the future and the celebrating fertility as well as the fecundity and fruitfulness of our lives and of the earth.

This blissful evening will begin with Yin Yoga class designed to awaken the body and open us up to the possibilities of the future. Together we will practice yoga postures, breathing and chanting interwoven with aromatherapy, sound healing and inspirational poetry. The class will conclude with a brief guided meditation to clarify future goals & aspirations.

We will then reconvene nearby at the Mercy Center for a ritual and labyrinth walk to deepen our connection to wisdom and call in even more the abundance of our lives. Together let's create a transformative and blessed 2009!

Please Bring: Yoga mat, yoga blankets or bolsters if you have them (we'll provide for those who don't). Also, bring a small offering to place on the community alter to be left at the labyrinth (piece of fruit, flower, seeds, nuts, poem, blessing, soil…anything representing fertility).
