The Writing Salon (Berkeley)

The Writing Salon is a year-round school offering creative writing classes in all genres, to adults of all ages and at all levels of writing experience (beginners to advanced). Founded in 1999, it has served thousands of Bay Area writers and aspiring writers from all walks of life. Classes include general introductory classes, as well as those that focus on specific genres, including fiction, poetry, screenwriting, playwriting, personal essays and memoirs, freelance magazine writing, travel writing, food writing, and much more. Classes are also offered in San Francisco.
