Premier of new site-specific work by Purple Moon Dance Project's Jill Togawa inspired by memories, stories and “interrupted dreams” of the WWII internment experience of the Nakazawa family and Japanese American pre-war community in south Berkeley. Featuring musicians Laura Inserra, Claudia Cuentas, Pauchi Sasaki; dancers Olivia Eng, Michelle Fletcher, Ruth Ichinaga, Arisika Razak, Sharon Sato; installations by artist-taiko drummer Ellen Bepp of Somei Yoshino Taiko Ensemble.
