Edgar Heap of Birds (ft. Visiting Artist Lecture: Edgar Heap of Birds), Feb 15-Mar 3

Edgar Heap of Birds is a leading artist of Cheyenne and Arapaho descent. Exhibiting are his two new series of monoprints, entitled Dead Indian Stories and Personal Notes. A short film about Heap of Birds’ large-scale public sculpture, Wheel, will be screened. A Professor at the University of Oklahoma, he has been exhibiting since 1979, including site-specific installations and public art projects across North America, Europe, South Africa, Asia and Australia, including the 52nd Venice Biennale.
