Sarava Zamba, Carnaval Celebration

Sarava Zamba (www.myspace.com/saravazamba \& www.facebook.com/saravazamba) is a Brazilian ensemble based out of Berkeley, CA and founded in 2009. Our music can be described as a high energy Brazilian fusion that mixes tropical groove with hints of Samba, funk, and popular dance music. The music of Sarava Zamba is fun, filled with a festive tropical vibe. Sarava Zamba founding members include Leo Lobo/ vocals, acoustic guitar and percussion; Silvio Correia/ vocals, acoustic guitar and percussion, and Jair Silva/ back vocal and percussion. The band also has a drummer, an electric guitar player, a saxophone player and an additional back vocalist.
