This ticket is for the eight session Spring semester . Please see below for a complete description of the Spring 2012 program, including dates and times.

WEpractice Spring 2012 Program

To start off our Spring program, we'll be holding two open practice sessions in January. Both sessions are open to the public and are intended to give prospective members an introduction to our work and a taste of the practices.  Anyone can come to these sessions, but if you think you might want to sign up for our Spring program, we recommend that you participate in both sessions.  Participation in at least one is required for all new members.

Open Practice Session #1
This will be a FREE session on Wednesday, January 11 in Berkeley. WEpractice teachers Dustin DiPerna and Christina Sophie will give a brief overview of WEpractice, followed by a couple of actual practices. There will be plenty of time allowed for questions, and we'll even provide snacks. This session is FREE but pre-registration is required.

Open Practice Session #2
The second session will be on Wednesday, January 25 in Berkeley. This will be a full practice session, just like one of our regular sessions, and is intended to give people a deeper taste of our practices. This event will be $20 and pre-registration is required.

Spring "Semester"
We are offering two programs in Spring. Each program will consist of eight sessions and each will be limited to 25 people.
Core Curriculum:  The curriculum for this group will be based on the best practices we developed during 2011. It will be more standardized and less experimental than our 2011 groups. This group is appropriate for people who have an established sprititual practice and who are looking to develop or deepen the intersubjective dimension of their practice.
Emerging Curriculum:  This group will be more explicitly experimental, deeper and edgier. It is our intention for this to be the alchemical cauldron from which future intersubjective practices will emerge. We want to explore more radically into this space, so we expect that this group will be deep and edgy. This group will be for people who have been in WEpractice or have done similar work in other groups.
The first session will be an almost all-day event on Sunday, February 11 from 10am to 5pm in Berkeley. Based on feedback from our 2011 sessions, we're starting off Spring 2012 with an longer session that will enable members to get to know each other up-front, which will build trust and intimacy and allow the work to go more deeply more quickly. Both groups will participate in this session.
Sessions 2-8 will be held at a new venue in Berkeley that's about three blocks from the Ashby BART station, which will be much more convenient for some of you. Both groups will meet separately on the same evening. The Core Curriculum group will meet from 5:30-7:30pm and the Emerging Curriculum group will meet from 7:45-9:45pm. The meetings will be on the 2nd and 4th Weds. of the month.
Registration info. for the Spring semester will be sent out immediately following the first open practice session on January 11.
