Visiting Artist Lecture Series: Kianga Ford

Kianga Ford combines installation and site-specific strategies to highlight the intersections between media and space. Her work engages sound's inherent capacity for creating immersive fields and technologies, like Max MSP, that have been specifically designed to enhance the spatial dimensions of media work. Her training, teaching, and practice have all focused on concept-directed forms, and she continues to work across sound, video, performance, mathematics and new architectural media.
