The Alameda Multicultural Community Center (AMCC) is a non-profit organization founded in 1998 to serve the many diverse communities within the city of Alameda. In 2007, the Multicultural Center merged with West End Koshland. The AMCC supports community building and multicultural civic engagement, with special emphasis on the West End of Alameda. The AMCC provides a drop-in resource center with a community computer lab and computer classes. It also sponsors multicultural arts programs and community events, including a diversity film program, and a school garden. The AMCC provides a space where multicultural perspectives are honored and celebrated.
