Pirate School

Pirate School breaths new life into an empty lot this fall with exciting hands-on workshops for pirate fans. Pirate School teaches active people eighteen and older how to sail, sword-fight and shoot using land sailors and historically accurate weapons from the 1700s. Pirate School’s founder, James Douglas, shares his piratical passion while teaching real skills and refereeing thrilling sailing races and melees. Workshops will be held Saturdays and Sundays 12-3pm and 4-7pm at 1801 Park St. in Alameda through November 14th. Tickets are $49 at PirateSchoolAdventure.com.
